Re: Going to Dublin on Thursday

Hi, i visited recently. FOr hd-dvds is think your best bet is probably hmv as thats the only place i saw that sold any optical media except a small music zone type of shop. Shopping wise i found it a bit disappointing as there wasn't all that much their i wanted to look at, might be different for your wife though. Depending on what you want to theres the prison to go round where they shot the easter rising rebels, theres a massive park to go round, the guinness brewery, The tour buses are quite good as you get to see everything though admittedly there a bit expensive. Its also worthwhile buying a map or printing one before you go or just going on the tour bus as the city is split in two each on one half of the river. Lots of nice places and the temple bar area is nice but it can be a bit of a bugger to find the bits of shops. Hope this has been useful and have a good trip.
