Has anyone used it, how much is it selling for, does it actually work as it says.

Re: Colgate- use it weekly

Sorry but have to take this with a pinch of salt.

It looks like just another clever bit of marketing to liven up the 'toothpaste' market.

Same as they invented round, then pyramid teabags, and convinced people that tea would taste nice out of them.

Or the fact that razor continually need another blade added to be any good.

They do! But all the tea drinking stains your teeth. Then you need better toothpaste. They're all conspiring...

Re: Colgate- use it weekly

The consumerism circle has to continue rolling.

Once a product is out there for a while, if you rebadge it, put it in a new box or basically lie and say it will improve your life, PEOPLE WILL BUY IT.

Lets be honest, I would bet big money that this new weekly toothpaste will have absolutely no effect on your teeth (or no difference that is noticeable to the human eye).

Its all nonsense. But a few slick ads on TV and a few million people will rush out to buy it.

I mean the greatest con of all time has to be the pyramid teabag. We had all the fancy ads talking about the circulation of water within the pyramid causing a better cup of tea. How can people be allowed to lie on this scale. That just defied physics.

Re: Colgate- use it weekly

Just as I was getting used to round teabags too - what was so wrong with the old rectangular one. (Ah I can see the trend now - in 2012 we have the dodecahedral teabag )

Re: Colgate- use it weekly

The marketing boys are having to work harder and harder to sell some products it seems. This mornings headlines include a story about the new Kate Moss range of clothes on sale at Topshop from today and it seems that the marketing department are deliberately restricting the amount of product on sale in each store in order to artificially whip up some excitement.

What's so special about a range of clothes allegedly designed by Kate Moss anyway unless it has extra pockets in it to hold all the drugs

The author of that article appears to be somewhat ignorant of the vast amount of adjectives and expletives that are available to use!

Re: Colgate- use it weekly

there's a great sketch on the Mitchell & Webb experience about the endless new designs of toothbrushes which this made me think of..

"If we can get them to brush their tongues... we can get them to do anything!"
