CCTV camera help

Anyone any advice on a cheapish CCTV camera for work. Want something small so I can hide it, and was thinking of one that will plug into the cat5 network and feed back to my pc?

I presume you are the boss? Because if this is a secret under the desk job, don't be too shocked if you are in neck deep or packing your things

Re: CCTV camera help

Yes, just wanted to keep an eye on the exits of the place because i have an idea things are going missing. Im aware of all the cctv rules about privacy and having to inform people I have it installed, but this was just really for my own benefit so id know who was taking things.

It was just a cheap temporary camera i wanted with motion detection preferably that i could record onto a pc hard drive if anyone has any advice.

Re: CCTV camera help

I've put these in at a few places for monitoring 'vending machine assault' and similar, anything of the like will do the job nicely for your needs.

The bundled software is fine for motion triggered recording to a PC, via normal Cat5 networking.

The Infra-red, motorized models make for great security cameras, and superb toys if you've got the cash spare..
