Hotmail help

I changed my hotmail password about a week ago. Now occasionally when I do a typo on my password I get the message:

"You have entered your password incorrectly too many times or someone else is attempting to access your account"

This is after one wrong attempt. This has happened on about 3 occasions now, so I can only presume that someone is trying to access my account.

I am wondering what to do.

You answered you own question. Someone else is attempting to gain access to your account by trying to guess your password.

I would recommend that you change your password to something incredibly hard to guess.

Something like qw34.Hg>/ would be a start.

Re: Hotmail help

See my thoughts are that someone has been accessing my account before I changed my password last week. The password is now virtually impossible to guess. But I am wondering if I can do something re: who is trying to access my account.

Re: Hotmail help

Add a number to the email addy and setup a new account or see if Hotmail themselves can do that then who ever's trying your account won't scupper your chances of logging in.
