hi all,
have just been hit with paypals wonderful security feature the 'expanded use number'.....basically i've had to wait for a 4 digit number to appear on my credit card statement,then enter this number on my paypal account to reactivate it.
i've now done this and had it confirmed that the account is now reactivated....
thing is i'm now trying to pay someone 3 quid for a book off ebay but cant as its coming up on my paypal account that 'payment cannont be funded with a credit card at this time'....i've got about twenty quid in the account and in the past this has always automatically gone out of the account to pay for any items with anymore payment left being billed to my credit card.

........anyone had experience of this problem or know a solution?
paypals help system is crapolla and the phonelines chocker.

Afraid I can't help, but i am waiting for the two payments to show up in my account before they will let me pay anyone!! Was able to pay everyone till tuesday...Stupid thing is why cant I just use my cc?????

hussar!....finally got through to someone on the phone....long story short....the verification had'nt gone through for some reason and should be back up and running in the next half hour.

Im waiting for this to bloody nightmare, i`ve also got to wait for them to send me a security code in the post to confirm my address is ok. Still i suppose there trying to secure online transactions so shouldnt moan.

I know what you mean but it is right inconvenient, when they done this years ago!!
How can it be verified one day then not the next...

...still not on....but my account is saying 'verified'....as come to think of it,it was last night?....so much for the fast and easy way to do business.
