A mate of mine has lent me his Makro Wholesale card but obviously has his name on it, he says I shouldn't have a problem using it as I just have to say I'm one of his employees and with a baby on the way it should cut the cost of nappies etc. Is he right in saying it's OK to use don't want to look a pillock at the checkout.

Yeah you will be fine my friends use my account all the time, without the card.

Makro is not that cheap though. Best off going to Costcos or Bookers.

I have been going to Macro (Preston) every month for several years and to date no one has ever checked by signature against the one on the card.

Got to agree that they are quite expensive if you only want to buy one or two things but if like me you buy in bulk some good savings can be had.

They also have special offers which if they happen to be something you want can save you a fortune
