All racehorses when registered are have bithdays of 1st Jan.

Don't know why - suppose it makes it simpler for when they have the "AV Forums 2yo Stakes" etc.

i noticed all the b-days as i was around online before and after new years struck......lol.....almost started this thread but then twigged it would be because they simply didnt put the full date, although i notice most put their year of birth as there were varying ages for the most part...heh
