Airkikx indoor skydiving

Anyone been to the Airkikx place in MK

Considering buying some Airkixk vouchers for the other half but just wondered if £65 for 4x1 minute "flights" is worth the cash or would I be better off spending another £100 and sending her on a tandem skydive?

Re: Airkikx indoor skydiving

I'd thoroughly recommend a tandem jump, did one not so long ago and it was amazing. Not long left this year though, most places stop jumping mid december and this being england I can't see there being there being many clear days.

I say the skydiving is an experience to be remembered, the anticipation, the sensations etc but the indoor skydiving is just a bit of fun, wouldn't mind a go mind!

Re: Airkikx indoor skydiving

My only thought about the thing in MK is it is really expensive for what it is, as the normal price is £38 for 2x 1 minute.

Although you might get the feeling of skydiving, it can't be the same as having the ground hurtling towards you at 140mph!!!

Re: Airkikx indoor skydiving

Not been to the MK one but have been to bodyflight in Bedford. It's great fun but 4 minutes is not long enough (we did about 20 mins - were with a guy who trains there).

Pay extra and do the real thing.

Re: Airkikx indoor skydiving

I did a Tandem in the Summer (July 1st I think)

Was amazing. Totally recommended.

Did the jump for charity so if you can raise £300 odd then she can jump for free
