Governement Timebomb

The movie Timebomb is a high powered action thriller.

Ok so what's my point. I was reading the review on IMDB and came across this statement:

"The movie did touch on things back in 1990 that are very real today about a out of control government feeling that it's above the law and can do no wrong as long as it has the power to control and intimidate those who dare to criticize or expose it."

I thought he was talking about the UK govt. but then realised he was in NY USA but I thought how relevant it is here now (I seem to remember Walter Wolfgang 82 being "arrested" trying to re-enter after being evicted from the Brighton labour party conference for heckling Jack Straw.) It's worth reading the rest of the article below just to remind yourself what this govt. is capable of.
