An Other Form Of Life On The Planet Posing As Humans.
Just read in the paper today about some people that clubbed a 10 day old tiger club to death just so they could stuff (taxidermy) it and sell it. The poor cub was totally helpless and would have not been able to see.
There are according to the article only 5000 tigers left in the wild, yet they are still being killed for trophies and Chinese medicine.
Well I’ve news for you, poachers are an other life form and are spawn of demons and their ground bones make you live a long healthy life.
So you now know what to do.

Re: An Other Form Of Life On The Planet Posing As Humans.
As we don't give a stuff about our own species it's no surprise we give even less about our wildlife. Life is precious, no matter what life. Very few understand that.

What is it with these low life forms??. Dont they understand once all the (any animal) becomes extinct, then their income and banal health cures will diminish with it??

Let us not forget the narrow minded scum that buys the lifeless stuffed 'trophy'.Without the buyer there is no market.

They probably go on to other life forms like lions, etc till they wiped out and then some other class till there gone. Or may be some rare plant, trouble is in the future it may have been found that they would have found a cure from them that would say destroy cancer, aids etc.
As to the buyers their fuel for the slaughterers, probably have the low IQ if I don’t buy it someone else will, rather than if no one buys it the trade stops.

Re: An Other Form Of Life On The Planet Posing As Humans.
It is terrible but then are we all so innocent ourselves?
How many of us actually pay attention to what we are buying, where it comes from and how it was made?
How many of us have products in our homes that have been produced at the expense of the natural habitat of some species that are now threatened because of it?
Most of the problems in the world and the threat of extinction for endangered animals are more down to the destruction of their habitat than Chinese medicine producers.
I'm not preaching as I am as bad as anybody, but I think a more fundamental shift in our outlook is needed if we are to address some of these problems

Re: An Other Form Of Life On The Planet Posing As Humans.
This is always an emotive issue but i ask why are we prepared to eat animals that have been reared in the most barbaric conditions imaginable , slaughterd when under stress( yes they can smell death especially pigs) and then packaged in such a way that the pieces of meat dont remind they were once sentient beings? Why do we become sentimental about some animals but not others. As OK said life is life.
I agree poachers are scum but should we not change our eating ways and insist on better animal husbandry?

Because some we eat and others we cherish like our own children because they're cute... to be blunt

Re: An Other Form Of Life On The Planet Posing As Humans.
I can see your point and see this going down the lane of farming rather than poaching.
But to answer some of them points albeit not a solution.
The animals we eat that you mention are replenishable there is no danger of them going extent. I also hope there is no killing of 10 day old youngsters just to satisfy someone’s vanity to have a nice ornament. Although I believe the practice of rearing veal meat is not the nicest of things.

Yes well they are called pets ..... to be equally blunt . I am talking about people getting worked a up about certain animals like , in the wild :elephants tigers etc which are poached ,those that are killed for sport, or some farmed animals like veal an geese in France.

but surely if we are going to adopt a moral stance then how we raise our farmed animals is equally important. I dont think we shopuld just be selective just beacue there so much cattle pigs and chicken around. They have rights just as any wild animal has. At the end of the day it comes down to our insatiable desire for cheap meats as well as the vanity of some.

Which to put another way means that most people couldn't care less.

As I said I can see this going down a farming lane (and not to his house etc), the threads about poaching animals to the point of extinction or very soon in to extinction and that they don’t even spare the blind and defenceless.
If you like to make a moral stand on farming please start a thread on it, and it has been debated before.
