Headstone help...

Hi all.

Ok, sadly my Mum passed away and I need some information about where to purchase a headstone. There is a cement plinth already fitted by the cemetary so no need to wait for ground to settle etc.

Anybody know any national companies that take care of this?

Thanks,

Kieron

Re: Headstone help...

i would suggest your better off dealing with a local firm, try going to yell.co.uk and searching your local area for headstones

Re: Headstone help...

speak to local funeral directors, they will either do them themselves, or have a good list of contacts

Re: Headstone help...

Thanks for the link. All the local firms want an absolute fortune - I really don't know where they get their prices from. It's a piece of granite with some gold lettering, a bit of drilling to fix etc yet they want nearly a thousand pounds!
