cheapest courier for overseas?

Hi.
Im wanting to send a smallish parcel to america.
Just wondered which is the cheapest courier and roughly how much?

Try the Royalmail price finder here. It obviously only covers their products but you might find a price that suits.

royal mail accept up to 2kg for overseas mail, and for weights up to
this found them to be the best price
for over 2kg, either try and break it down if possible into smaller?
or....
make it up to a full container?

dunno, never found a reasonably priced way for sending worldwide over 2kq -
the fed ex, dhl quotes were horrendous, because i think you were falling
into the up to 20kg category perhaps

a lady in po a few weeks ago ran up 300 quid postage for 3 parcels to australia,
one was a pair of hiking boots, and they must have been good to spend that
much, and why she couldnt take them with her on the plane (presuming they were for her)
