Weird e-mails?

Is anyone else getting several emails a day from people you dont know titled along the lines of:

"Your mortage approval (Case No. 5679876621121)"
"Your Loan approval"
"Your Refinace approval"

?

They are really annoying and don't even have any content...The titles have spelling errors as shown above i just wanna know what's the point? None of them have attachments and Ive done a full virus/spyware check.

Re: Weird e-mails?

Not quite as annoying as the constant spam of a more risque nature. Google's spam filtering works, but I'd prefer it if they do what lycos and yahoo do - don't even let spam through in the first place

Re: Weird e-mails?

I get hundreds of the things. Fortunately BT Yahoo's spam filter is top notch preventing me from getting any of them to my inbox.

Re: Weird e-mails?

@ Knyght_byte.

When my sister used BT, the spam filter was quite good. We use NTL here, and I have no idea what people think of that.

It seems to work OK, though.

I get these too, Soulja, where do these come from as I've never visited sites like these?

I also have loads of these financial ones as mentioned in the thread and now a few worrying ones which are accompanied by files to download (quickly deleted).
