Re: Whats the biggest Steak you've eaten ?

That's impressive, but I'd be up for it. In American steak houses you do see some amazing cuts of meat, one of the biggest I must have seen was a bear steak, but no idea of the size.

Re: Whats the biggest Steak you've eaten ?

just steak wouldnt be too bad.....its when you add the potato based products and beans or veg that make it more difficult...lol

personally i havnt ever ordered more than 2 12oz gammon steaks or a 16oz beef steak in a restaurant........at home tho i've devoured a 20oz steak, 6 be good to yourself sainsburies sausages, 4 rashers of extra thick bacon, 12oz of liver, 10oz of kidneys, a tub of sainburys vintage canadian cheddar mash potato, a large portion of birds eyes peas, 2 large open cup mushrooms, 1 tomato halved and 2 fried slice.......on one plate......washed down with a bottle of wine and for dessert a sainsburys individual lemon sponge pud and chocolate sponge pud in the same dish....(damn nice mix).....i'd say thats probably the biggest dinner i've eaten over two courses....heh....and yes, i could not move after..LOL....luckily my armchair is next to my bed

also it was initially supposed to be for me and my dad, but he ended up having to go for a game of bowls and the food wouldnt keep another day so i figured i'd stick it on the plate and eat what i could....heh

this was 2 years ago iirc......nowadays i couldnt eat half that....lol...working in an office just doesnt work up an appetite...

Re: Whats the biggest Steak you've eaten ?

the biggest i've ever had is a 20oz, at this great little place called the farmhouse in portsmouth; you can get BOGOF vouchers from Morrisons supermarkets and have 2 meals to yourself if you're a greedy bugger (have done this a couple of times) £9.99 gets you a 20oz steak, chips, peas, mushrooms, onion rings on a huge platter.. i add to this three side orders of scampi (3 x 4 pieces at £1 for 4) just to complete the meal

Re: Whats the biggest Steak you've eaten ?

I've had the $50.00 50oz Porterhouse at Charlie's in Orlando - hold the fries, hold the corn, hold the onion rings, hold everything. I managed some salad but the steak was hard work. Only left some fatty bit.

Best steak house in the world
