I have normal windows xp on my pc, now i want windows media center i have the disc and i type the user key as well thats fine, but when it restarts it just frrezes up when the white line goes across the screen whats going wrong?

is there any other way i can get media center on my pc as this does not seem to work.

Yave you formatted the Hard drive and started from scratch? It needs a clean install.

that could possibly be a hardware/driver conflict, does startup complete in safe mode?
