Re: Xbox 360 and windows media center

As far as I understand it, this allows you to use your xbox to view pictures, listen to music and watch movie files which are all stored on your PC. I suppose the main reason for doing this is if you have the PC in another room somewhere, but you want to sit in your lounge with your plasma and access all this stuff. The xbox 360 precludes the need for having a PC in your lounge if its just accessing media files you wish to do.

Re: Xbox 360 and windows media center

I have it in the lounge and bedroom, you can stream movies etc [with VLC360 or TransCode] easily and the wireless is easy to setup
