[Crazy Snake Man]

my panasonic crt tv keeps switching itself off, all leads sem to be in, pic goes funny and turns itself off. can happen half dozen times in row (eg when switch back on goes off right away) then seems fine for while.

any idea? is it tv or connections, want to get hd lcd but not if going to have this prob, eg if need to fix set-up first.
tv 7 yrs old no probs till now.

Could be the on/off button,try to hold it in for a min or so when you turn it on,if it turns off after you release it ,it could be that ...there again might not be.....
