Uploading pictures

I wasn't quite sure where to post this.

I'm wanting to start a post/thread and wanted to include some pictures.

But whether I take a picture with a digital camera or a camera phone, the pictures are all way too big to upload (up to 1mb Jpeg)

Can anyone advise as to how I can sort this? Thanks.

Or you can upload them to ImageShack. It's free and take files up to 1.5 MB big.
