...be organic..?

the reason I ask is that I read it cannot be - if this is the case, then can anything be truely organic..? except maybe to fit in with government guidelines?

depends. I reckon if you collected it yourself then its pretty organic. I highly doubt anything you can buy in the shops has JUST been filtered

'Organic' - Do you mean chemistry definition? then no

Or do you mean 'marketing spin definition'? e.g. happy chickens running around a field as opposed to boxed in cages in an industrial shed... In which case, I dunno but I doubt it could be classed as organic. I suppose you could have categories:

Water bottled from a natural source with no additives.
Water bottled from a natural source with additives.
Water bottled from a non natural source.
