Home Office at it again!

What are they doing down at the Home Office.
First it was Illegal Immigrants cleaning, and now they are giving law-abiding citizens criminal records.
It's not even funny any more.
These people are worse than incompetent, they don't give a damn.
They say it is almost acceptable that 0.03% of the cases are wrong and "should be put into context."
Sorry this is bull dung. Only afew months ago a minister was saying it was okay for minor sex offenders to work with children and this outrage revealed that sexual deviants were still getting through the vetting process.
It STINKS!!

i have to do about 10-15 CRB checks a week and the CRB are the most incompetent bureau around, constantly sending back forms saying they are incorrect for no reason. Each application is supposed to take between 4-6 weeks but ther have been times where we have had to wait up to 12 weeks, preventing people from working. most unhelpful organisation ever

This may shed some light on the matter. The lowest tender was the main consideration, not the protection of the public.

Lets put it into context then, assuming UK population at 65 million people, that means 19500 people have unduly been given criminal records and had their lives / prospects shattered or destroyed.

Not too bad I suppose as long as your not one of the 19500.

It makes you wonder what the home office is going to do next.
