Yes very sad, on the tv news they said he was 65, either way if he was 69 its' not exactly what one would call old in this day and age. Rip.

I remember having "You Were Made For Me" on a single as a kid.
It seems to me the stars then (and he was a star) were much less up their own in those days, and more talented. No fancy recording techniques to hide the lack of talent back then.
