Help with my Website

I am trying to build my own website to promote my business. I cannot afford to
pay for a fancy professional site.
I decided to use a Content Management System (mambo). I am starting to get a
grip with basic code, but the problem I have is English language and grammar.
I set up the site, and paid a few quid to have the template made for me.
I need to get the content finished. I have actually had a few enquiries through
my site without even advertising it, so I am now wondering how many potential
clients have been put off by finding it.
I have had permission from Stuart to post this thread, but I must tread carefully
so as not to breach Rule 7 of the forum rules.
For anyone willing to offer advice, you will find a link to my site in my profile.

Rather than jump in and confuse me, could we take it one page at a time, starting
with the homepage. I have content here, but I need to be sure that it is OK.

Cheers.

I'll happily look at it for you and I have some expertise in search engine optimisation as well.

I'll check it out sometime this weekend and PM my thoughts to you rather than post on an open forum.

I'll have a look at the English and grammar for you if I get a second this weekend.

Just some general comments (not sure if that's what you're looking for), but I'd say generally it looks good and the content on the homepage reads well and grammar seems to be fine. It might just be my browser (Safari for mac) but there are some carriage returns on the homepage which aren't at the end of a line. Would maybe make the font a bit bigger, and also the menu on the left. I couldn't see anywhere saying where you work and what area you cover, I think that should be pretty prominent on the homepage. Bit more content on the links as well, maybe repeat the text you have already said on the homepage about the services you do at the top of each link page. Eg " Domestic Installations, from a minor addition, to a complete design and rewire." at the top of the 'domestic services' page, but with a bit more detail. I like the look though, nice site

Cheers Tek.
I am hopefully going to go through the various services one at a time.
As you have noticed, there is no content on most of the pages. I know what I want
to say, but I don't know how to say it.
That's why I am hoping some fine person from this forum can tell me how to say it.
The point about the text being small, I was wondering too. I will have to look at how
to mess with the sizes on that one. No doubt there will be a setting somewhere.

Thank you for the comments.
