Thanks: Gave 679, Got 340 | Things that amaze you when you stop and think about it..
Been thinking a bit over the last few days.
A couple of musing have been -
1. Why when as young men do we strive to grow beards, moustache and facial hair so badly and yet when we reach a certain age we have to fight random nostril hair, ear hair, body hair etc and loathe the stuff. I am convinced I am getting somewhat more hirsute as I ebb nearer to middle age.
2. Worked in the civil service for years. Everyone is treated like children. Move back into private sector expecting a nightmare and notice a culture shift where staff are treated as adults. Simple as that. Surey it should be the other way around?
What about you, any odd random thoughts over the last few days?
Pete.

Not talking beards - no worries with mine either though I did shave it off as got to much.
However, just the fact that hair seems to grow from every place going as you get older. 34 now and cant ever remember this as a kid and starting to look like my grandad |

Why clumsy people fall over a tiny crack in the pavement, blame someone else and ask for 10K.
Why bus fares always seem to increase by 10p every six months. (I am tight alright. )
Why, when you put down a screwdriver your using, you can only find it when your looking for your shoes.
Why when its bucketing it down do you getwalking behind two of the slowest females on the planet talking about feet, on the narrowest pavement in the world and you cant get passed them.

Why is it called a 'crush' when you have an infatuation? You're unlikely ever to touch the object of your desire, let alone crush them.

I sport a small goaty which is rapidly showing additional grey hairs, where as the hair on my head has none. Time for a shave me thinks.
Also why do people who cut me up on the way to work act like it's my fault? Is it me, or have I just got a different copy of the Highway Code?

Technology in general!
I mean flat panal TV's, computers. How the hell did people manage to think of this stuff up! I start thinking about all the brainpower that went into the development of a personal computer to todays specs, and I JUST GIVE UP!

The human body and how it develops into a complex machine in just 9 months of development, it really is incredible.

Why is it when you hit a bad shot during a golf game, that the ball could go anywhere in the world! and yet it goes down a rabbit hole behind a tree!! it could have gone anywhere in this whole planet but it went there
"I must let that game go"
