Smile The Wedding/Engagement Pics Thread

Was just going through photos of our wedding last September and thought to myself, 'We've had cats and dogs pic threads ... why not have something for us married/engaged lot?'

Looks like you guys enjoyed it Shadow. I like traditional weddings.

Pics from mine if anybody is interested. I turned out more like a loud luncheon than a wedding. Just 12 or 14 of us I think.

Very nice, mate. Where was it held? Your wife looked happy - especially in the shot of her in the car.

We did it in the Four Seasons Hotel just next to our appartment block on the Themes. They had the two nice rooms with views over the river so it was really relaxed. We were both so happy but very hung over as we had our bachelors and hen nights the night before the wedding.

That was brave!

We did ours a month beforehand: her in her home town, me in Torquay with the lads!

Hi Chaps

Thought I would chip in with a shot of me and the gorgeous missus. The wedding was in 2004 with the service in a beautiful little stone village church, and the reception in a marquee at a nearby National Trust site at Lyveden New Bield.

I thought it was a myth when they said it is the best day of your life, but to see all of our plans come together so successfully, it really was the best day of my life - and I got married to my darling wife

Here a a couple from our wedding. We got married in Turkey, as my wife is Turkish. The whole ceremony was in Turkish, I just had to say yes at the right point; I could have been agreeing to anything (not quite true as I had a translator).

It was about the biggest cake I had ever seen. As you can see we had to use a sword to cut it with.
