Looked at Jet2.com for flights during October to either Alicante or Murcia .... anyone recommend another website for some quality, cheap flights at this time? Thanks for any help!

we used monarch, they charter some flights down there too. Pick up some good deals. We usually fly in between Christmas and New Years and stay at La Manga

This is quite good.

The SkyScanner website (on the links in there) used to be very good, but it now appears that selected routes are sponsored, so for example if you check London Heathrow to Alicante you only get BMI flights - whats the point.

The Kelkoo site appears to compare a few though.

We flew from Manchester to Alicante last year and found the cheapest to be Thomsons, but prices changed daily some days BMI were cheaper, some days Monarch.

I think because you are booking in advance the BMIbABY / jET 2 are likely to be cheaper as the Monarchs/Thomsons etc bread and butter is with the Tour operators so they won't be selling off cheap just yet.

Can't speak for Thompsons , but with Monarch , the earlier you book , the better price you will pay
