Where to go thsi weekend?

I live in Birmingham and fancy a weekend away with my G/F. Any sugestions of decemt places not that far as dont really fancy driving 4-5 hours after work on friday!

Check these guys for late availability. Plenty of gorgeous properties in the Midlands. I can heartily recommend Tixall Gatehouse just outside of Stafford if you can get it.
