Just how stupid are some kids these days...?

After the thread on 'how naughty were you as a kid?', this takes some beating.

We have a mains gas pipe attached to the outside of our office building. On Saturday somebody decided it would be clever to try and knock the top off it and try and set light to it.

Fortunately, for everyone concerned, they didn't do a good enough job. But a number of office suites had enough gas in them that meant they would have exploded should someone have switched a light on.

The little idiots could have blown have the street to pieces.

Time to get some CCTV installed .

Not counting the fact that they could have been injured or worse had their "idea" gone to plan.

Very yet they seem to be lucky enough to not get blown up.

They never cease to amaze!

I work in education, although strangely enough I'm not a caretaker! Kids never ever cease to amaze me, you can stand and watch these little sh1ts smash windows, remove doors, graffitti on walls and even though you have seen them do it, they will deny it till the cows come home!!!

About three years ago a lad tried to rip one of our CCTV cameras of the wall outside. His face was recorded in glorious close up. At court he denied it was him and so did his mother!
The magistrate wasn't taken in with such an obvious bluff and handed out the hefty sentence of --- wait for it --- yes, a caution.
Meanwhile we had to pay for the damage.

Wasn't there something about a couple of chavs setting fire to the inside of fluorescent tubes to play light sabers only to end up in hospital a while back?
