Thats got to be fake simply for the crass voice over, then again i don't watch american "police chase tv" so it could be real. The shotgun didn't seem to do much damage either, but it was a poor picture so ...

I doubt it was a genuine cop chase, more likely that it was a case of somebody ******* off some gangsters or drug dealers or something.

Spoof, what cop would hang out of a car then jump from one to the other jump through a window, that covieniently is not there and push a guy out and take over the steering.

Exactly. Would that be Sheriff John Bunnell, of "Worlds Wildest Police Video's" fame?!

think about it. Im not saying its fake but your reasons are useless. He spent a good few minutes thinking about how to stop that truck. Spotted the open window, flat bed truck is nice and easy to jump onto... why not? probably got a good look at the wuss of a driver too so thought "i could take him"

I doubt he jumped on and thought, "wow luckily this was a pickup... now... how to get him OOH an open window! how handy". The guy probably jumped out to avoid the beatings
