Crime reduction ideas anyone? :)

The title of this thread makes it sound crazy and I didn't mean castrate offenders or anything like that! but what I mean by it was i've basically got to design a poster or leaflet which makes people think about possible crimes or something along the lines of that...

You know like those posters you see warning you to keep your phone away.

Im thinking along the lines of having a poster stuck up in a bar about keeping valuables safe or watching your drinks etc...

Some humour would be good too

Any ideas anyone?

I had the idea of a poster with a pic of David Dickinson on pointing at the viewer and a warning slogan, but my mate nicked that idea

Anyone know of any other crazy character that points at the camera like David Dickinson?

how about this.......

Thieving is the 2nd oldest profession, so...

then use heiroglyphic type symbols, use a castle (keep) then a bracelet (valuables) then a padlock (locked) then an arrow pointing upwards (up)......

then the bottom of the poster to read....

If you can work this out, your smart enough not to be a victim.

Or something similar.....

Wow thats really good Knyght byte How did you think of that? I am a bit creative but takes me a while, you were fast!

Where are these heiroglyphic symbols? Are they in word?

Im just trying to think of variations of this, people may not think of keep when looking at a castle...

I could use this on lamp posts where lots of people park at the side of the road. (where there is a high incidence of theft from vehicles)

How about two images. Both are rear shots of a young man, the first has a normal anus, the second four inches wide, representing before and after shots of being put in prison. Is that the kind of thing?

Reducing crime is dead easy - just make all currently illegal drugs completely legal. In a matter of months every drug dealer in the country would go out of business, and property crime (burglaries, etc.) would fall by about 50%.

However, that's probably not the sort of thing you can put in a leaflet.

Totally agree with that, it would just be very hard to implement! True I cant really put it in a leaflet

Anyone else have any funky ideas?
