Post Most expensive warranty

my mate brought this to my attention as he has quite interested in this item but changed his mind when he seen the cost of the warranty, all i can say is they can't have much faith in there product. go to the bottom of page and look at the price for one year and dont laugh to loud.

a bit pricey, but it is onsite rather than RTB.

If they don't have faith in their product why is an RTB warranty included in the price. It is the onsite warranty that is very expensive and is probably as they don't have a network of travelling engineers.

Surely most AV equipment doesn't come with onsite warranties anyway.

that is rather shocking even for an onsite warranty.....just for a year....would be ok if the product was worth around £2,500 possibly......but for a £1,100 i'd rather save the money, ok if it breaks down in the first year u gotta RTB and be a few days without, but its hardly a hardship is it?..lol

i love my Infocus 7205, got a refurb from 7oaks...came with 3 years Goldy onsite warranty...heh....now thats magic ;-)

But by adding all the option extras (exc warrenty) the item gets to about £2,250 but the on site warrenty remains at the same price.
