got a rash!!

hi, wondered if anyone could help or advise...

I've got a small rash (about 1 inch sq) on my chest - the skin's dry and red - it's been like that for about 10 days now!

it isn't painful or anything, just a touch itchy at times...any idea what it coud be, and do you know of any good cream that I could use..? - I'm just using mosturising cream just now, but thats not working...

I haven't really got time to goto the docs...

I guess I maybe allegic to something, but haven't been able to find out!!

Flea bites sometimes cause a rash - is your collar relatively new or do you have injections or a spray?

Only joking - try an anti-histamine tablet (Loratidine or Piriton etc.) and see if it goes away.

just a rash, similar to what you describe. Can be very sore. Usually happens to people who are run down, immune system running low.

Have you been out on the tiles too much?

and I don't think I have that...I don't feel run down as such (maybe stressed tho)

Sounds eczematous? Buy some Hydrocortisone-based cream such as Daktocort and apply it SPARINGLY.

Also why not call in at your local Pharmacy?

If you had it for a length of time the spots should be over an area, and usually give pain over a large area about the size of a palm
If you have it the best thing for it is calamine lotion it really soothes itching.
