SATA > IDE adapters - are they available?

I hope this doesn't get moved to the Xbox forum as it is a lot bigger than that, even though it is my main concern at the minute.

Anyway, I would like to put a 300Gb hdd into my Xbox, and I can get a SATA one from work. But I cannot find a cable or adapter that will convert a SATA drive to be used on an ide channel, although there are plenty that work the other way round.

Does anyone know if these are available and where I might get one? I had a lot of trouble getting 3 SATA to usb adapters from the states and even then the supplier wouldn't ship them directly to me so I had to get them delivered to an address in the states first and then on to the uk, so in this country would be preferable.

That'll get an IDE HD to work on a SATA motherboard - from what I know the OP won't get one the other way I'm afraid... doesn't exisit.

They definitely do exist - it's finding them that's the problem.

www.dataduplication.co.uk sell them, but it wouldn't fit in the Xbox for the purpose you require it for. There are cheaper ones on fleabay, but again, it wouldn't fit inside.
