Annoying pop up window problem in Firefox

Hey all,

Can anyone help me with an annoying problem I'm having with Firefox? On some websites that I browse, they use sub pages to display some info - photo galleries, streaming music players etc - but these pages do not open up full width in Firefox - usually it's half width tops - so I can't see all that's supposed to be there.

The windows cannot be re-sized - hovering over the borders does nothing, so I've usually got no alternative but to use IE instead.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a solution, cos the less I have to use IE, the better.

Thanks in advance,

Tobs

Hi t-force

You could try altering the Javascript settings in Firefox.

Tools > Options > Content > Advanced... (Next to the allow JavaScript)

Then try unticking the "Move or resize existing windows" box.

Hopefully, that will work.

Cheers
Moosh

Thanks for the suggestion Moosh, but it's made no difference at all unfortunately. Anyone else have any suggestions?

I think he means pop-ups like this:
http://www.warehouseexpress.co.uk/ph...f4lisusm.html#.

Sometimes I can resize the window other times I can't.

edit: damn that doesn't work as a pop up unless you're on their site!

If you go to this page
http://www.warehouseexpress.co.uk/in...canonlens.html
then scroll down a bit and click on 'info'.

That's the kind of thing, but I can resize that one!! If you go to http://www.stiltskin.org/index2.htm, then click on "Audio" at the bottom, then one of the song titles, you should be able to see the exact problem.
