When I was a 6th former I had some mates who were in to live roleplay. They made themselves daggers, swords and shields and would go to the local woods to "kill" each other. One, who was experienced with the dagger, had to should "double" everytime he stabbed someone (as he could do double damage). These people asked me and another friend if we'd like to join them.

Oh, how we laughed. And no, we didn't join them. In fact we told them that if they didn't want to be publically humiliated to keep shtum about their live roleplaying activities!

After watching that video it just comfirms how scary it could have been!

Reckon you missed out old bean. Nothing quite like fighting a four headed serpant in my local woods. Ahem, that actually came out wrong but I will leave it like that for comic effect...

That big "knight" reminds me of the one from Monty Python and the Holy Grail!

I saw a bunch of these 'nerds' up the hills where I walk the dogs the other day, they had a big pile of authentic looking weapons....this lot looked like a bunch of Games Workshop geeks too..........they all seemed to take it very seriously.....completely ignoring me and my dogs (despite my cheery 'good morning') as obviously we didn't fit into the little world they had created!

They should be out spray painting people's cars instead of doing unharmful things. Youth these days...

You are lucky that they did not roll you a 6 and attack in melee fashion with broadswords....

Yes I think I had a lucky escape due to them dropping a dice down a rabbit hole

Yes that is very true but the group I mentioned were all late teens, early twenties by the look of them....however I wasn't complaining...merely bemused as I had never seen this before or even been aware of it.
