Thanks: Gave 4, Got 217 | Am I the only one having a bad Friday 13th?
This morning was just generally bad - what with one thing and another (one of those days where nothing goes right and nothing's good enough), but now the Router that was supposed to be delivered by CityLink has now been lost by them! When I asked what they are doing about it - silence. When I asked how that helps me, they suggested I ask the company to send another one (obviously, by CityLink).
I'm just waiting for a tube crisis or a train cancellation now......Followed by my DVD blowing up. I can sense a VERY early night coming on.
Anyone else or am I alone in this?

I had a telephone call from one of the finance companies that I deal with to tell me very apologetically that they had made a mistake in calculating the commission due to me in August last year and if I cared to send them an invoice for £2,050 they would pay it straight away.
I wish it were Friday 13th every day |

Well apart from banging my thumbs with the hammer a few times whilst routing my new speaker cable, all good so far | |

Clearly just me then.
I'd buy a bar of chocolate to release some endorphins but knowing how my luck is today, I'd get to the shop and Ferrero Rocher would be the only ones there.
Or Kinder Surprise.

Well I was happily browsing the posts when my brain slowly became aware of a rather pleasant smell.Unfortunately 20 minutes later it even more slowly became aware of a rather unpleasant smell. There goes tonight's dinner! It would have been pork with a rather nice Marsala and chestnut sauce, but the sauce has just been cremated! Are these posts addictive or what?Still,if that's the worst Friday 13th can throw at me I won't complain.

Kelvin, sorry to hear that, all the best for your mum.
Well today, we managed to finally get our blocked drains cleared after failing yesterday, but was left with the unsavoury task of shovelling unsavoury matter from our back yard for 20 minutes afterwards... :stinksmiley:

I got my replacement Plextor dvd writer after sending my faulty one back to Belgium on Wednesday! And I ordered one tub of 50 dvdrs from ebuyer and they sent me 2 that arrived today (only paid for one I've checked!). Pretty good day for me so far!
