Talk Talk (with Carphone Warehouse) problems

We have a 12 month contract with Talk Talk for phone line and broadband but we are having nothing but problems.

The broadband keeps disconnecting and everytime we ring them they blame it on BT, but we have never had any problems before and they won't let us out of this contract. So we have refused to pay until they do something about it we have checked and we are under the consumer rights act.

Has anyone else had this problem?

have you got mircofilters on every phone that is connected?

if not that could be the cause of your disconnection

I had this same problem, and as said was cured by fitting filters on every socket in use.

Be very careful about not paying!

Don't know what your credit file is like but Talk Talk report all arrears/non payments to Experian. If you miss even 1 month or two, you could be burning your bridges because if you then apply for a different broadband/telephone service, credit card, loan ,even bank acounts with debit cards, you will most likely get turned down.
