Attentions seekers such as these sorts of people-

People who act passionately at football matches to get on the telly
People who take off their shirts at football matches to get on the telly
People who queue up for days just to buy a new iPad

When you quickly text someone and put in 'now' instead of 'not' or vice versa. As in "I'm now going tonight" instead of "I'm not going tonight". One little letter, and a whole world of difference.

Even worse is the condescending "you don't have kids? Aww, then you haven't and can't ever experience real happiness" people. Not those exact words maybe but that air of superiority.

A doctor I work with left in a Christmas card for staff last year with pictures of her smelly kids on the front and a poem that said something along the lines of "children teach us how to live life and your life is incomplete until then".

Pish.

I had mates years ago who turned just the same 5 minutes after having kids. It was as if everyone else who doesn't have kids doesn't know anything and are probably gay !!

Where should they ride then? I'm sure pedestrian pavements are for pedestrians. Unless there is a separate marked out cycle lane of course...

I personally love the thrill of dodging cyclists on the pavement with my young child

Yes I hate that too. They also sometimes try to coin a new phrase for something by saying "known as (insert word here)-gate by some people". With the "some people" being only that reporter trying to create a phrase for the bit of news.

Men in their 40's riding either BMX's or 'souped up' (read: different exhaust) 50cc scooters. Grow up or at least do your mid-life crisis properly!

Why is it that the scooters that used to be the transport of choice for OAPs are now so cool that kids ride around in gangs like a crap version of a biker gang? - 50cc 2001 plate honda scooter? You are a badass man...

A woman in work had a baby girl and year ago and now she's back I have heard every detail "oh she is walking!" "Oh she danced in front the TV!" "Here are loads of pictures of her on my phone". Every single day.
Not that interested love.

Pointless bitterness from childless people towards people who have children. It's not that your opinion doesn't count, just that it's poorly-informed.

I do hope you're not referring to any of the recent posters here? I haven't seen any bitterness towards normal non pushy, non condescending parents!

Not at all, just trying to balance out the other comment.

On a serious note, I generally try to value someone's opinion based on the quality of what they're saying, whether they have kids or not. One thing that is inescapable though - and that some childless people seem to have a real problem accepting, though I don't know why - is that your perspective on life changes when you become a parent. It's not a case of oneupmanship, it's just a natural thing, like getting pubes during adolescence. You can try to fight it, but you can never go back.

I haven't seen anyone suggest that and I certainly don't think that. Of course your perspective changes. The problem is that not everyone wants that change!

I could suggest that if you "found God", you life and perspective would change etc. But if I insist that you're missing out because you have no intention of doing so, and pity you because you don't, then I'm being a dick!

Musical Ringtones. In fact any ring tone outside of the standard one the mobile comes with. Says a lot about a person.

The term childless. Similar to jobless it alludes towards something is lacking rather than personal choice to be without ^_^

When a thread contains multiple pages and you click on the last available page only too find the previous page has or may have unread posts. Selecting the previous page you have to carefully scroll down as there is no little orange icon to guide you to the first unread.
