^ Congratulations smallclanger

Have our first little bundle of joy on the way (don't know the sex as we want it to be a surprise), due the 1st 2 weeks of April 2012.
Had a scan today and everything appears to be going well..

Cheers! We kept it a surprise as well, we got a handsome little boy.

Just wish he would let us sleep now!

Nah, just having parents as members isn't enough to make it comparable to Mumsnet! I looked through it for a bit as some people I know have been discussed on it, and I've never visited a website I like less than that place.

The use of the phrase 'baby dancing' is enough to merit it's closure

We are very lucky, we have a 5 month old, but since he was about 2 months he has slept for at least 8 hours a night- he sleeps for about 10/11 hours nowadays!
I am prepared for that to change though when he starts teething, crawling, rolling over etc.

not sure if ellie is a bit boss eyed?

other than that she is very pretty

(I am aware that young kids bridges of their noses don't form fully which can make them a bit boss eyed)

Errrm yes and no. Really looking forward to it now but getting quite impatient too if that makes sense?!

It's the realisation that in about two weeks I will have my own family and all of a sudden I've grown up!

We've also started buying a house so in terms of stress, I appear to be a glutton for punishment!

Thanks for the best wishes guys!

Kieran

I'm just wandering where the time has gone. Only seems like yesterday that we found out!

So pretty much in the same boat as you. (apart from buying house. Got that out the way in the summer)
Hoping for an early arrival. My time off starts a few days before the due date and my wife's really anxious about being late and me not getting the benefit of our time together as a new family before I return to work. I have 3 weeks off so fingers crossed in pans out ok!

Good luck when the time comes!
