Ariston Boiler Red Explanation Light

Ariston Boiler Red Explanation Light
Just moved into our new house and I’ve noticed that the boiler switches off and a red explanation light goes on.

Why does this happen?

Do you mean Explanation or Exclamation? Also if you look for the model of your boiler you might be able to download the manual for it which will tell you what the light means.

Fan not running, flue blocked or air in the system are just a few possibilities. You're gonna need the manual.

thanks guys, i can't seem to located any model number for the bioler... its just says ARISTON on it....
