Exclamation Re: The NEW Sinclair C5

Hi,

That looks like nothing more than a slightly bigger golf buggy! Definitely not a car I'd want to own! Imagine driving that in any big town - zero protection from larger vehicles hitting you, let alone the lack of a windscreen and roof! A big from me!

err, that's just the 'chassis' he is driving around in. Not the finished car...

I had also thought that he could of put a bit more work into the safety and design of the car

When they said they're taking on 30,000 additional staff, i did not think they meant children

It's for those children looking for something a bit more rewarding from their traditional paper round

Re: The NEW Sinclair C5

A few months ago I read an article in Autocar about Gordon Murray's prototype version of a Smart car code-named T-25. I looked simular to the one pictured in the BBC article. It was powered by a 600 cc engine (possibly turbo-charged). It has 3 comefortable seats and was faster and handled corners a hell of better than a Smart.

The picture of the car in the article looks Ugly because it is a basic prototype without a body.
