Re: Dont Forget You Get More Time In Bed Tonight

The USA relinquish daylight saving time 1 week later than us.
This is an advantage to me because I happen to be flying out to Boston on Sunday and return on Thursday - only a 4 hour time difference instead of the usual 5 hours to East Coast USA.

Exclamation Re: Dont Forget You Get More Time In Bed Tonight

Hi,

For those of you who intend recording stuff on DVD Recorders, or PVR's, and Video Recorders, don't change your clocks until you get-up on Sunday morning, or your device will likely miss the recording! (The vast majority of DVD, VCR and PVR devices assume that you WON'T change the clock on it, until at least 6am on Sunday morning!)

HAHAHA! I do that with my car, never bother changing the time on it, get plenty of strange looks from friends, but who cares - don't use it much either with may explain why.

Actually, I will get the same time in bed, except I will be up earlier tomorrow morning. I expect it will be about 05:00 when I arise

Re: Dont Forget You Get More Time In Bed Tonight

I have a list of stuff round the house that has clocks and needs changing when the hour changes - 33 items to date.

Takes me about an hour.

GMT doesn't change, it stays the same all year round. We change to british summer time in march by putting the clocks forward which gives us more daylight through the summer. In october we go back to GMT.

Me too. Every year.

It's heartbreaking at 2 am watching the clocks revert to 1 am.

And the way the shifts work I'm on days when they go forward so get an hour less in bed
