Dog owners - advice please

My 9yr old Lab had a growth removed from her top lip today. I collected her from the vets at about 4.30pm. I was given some antibiotics to start tomorrow as she was already given pain killers and an antibiotic earlier.

Problem is the now the anesthic has completely worn off the dog is constantly whimpering and seems in pain. Would I be able to give her a paracetemol or something similar until tomorrow when I'll see how she is and go to the vets.

I'm not asking for medical advise per se, but I'm sure some experienced dog owners here might know if it is safe or not.

Hi
Paracetomol will be fine, i always give my dogs one when in pain ie leg strain or pulled muscle, you wont have no issues with this.

I'm not sure if this will help but when my girl was spayed she was whimpering a lot, I found that she was calmest in the darkest, quietest room in the house where she could relax (my bedroom while I was downstairs).
