Where's his gaming equipment??? (perhaps he has a similar room just for gaming )
Can't comment on choice of the other kit, but I don't particularly like it as a home cinema. Don't get me wrong it's an amazing piece of work and looks exactly like a mini version of classic cinema.
The emphasis on this project is clearly on 'cinema' and not 'home'. It looks like it seats about 12. I don't think I would want my mates sat two rows behind me when enjoying a film! This sacrifices intamacy for authenticity.
I think the ideal 'home cinema' is just that, the comfort of the sort of stuff you have in your lounge with all the tech to give you that great cinema experience.
Edit: just noticed the picture of his gaming room.

It might have an enviable kit list, but as a room in a house it does nothing for me.

Personally. I'd change the Snell and Wilcox Interpolator.
(What the f*** is one of them).

I have seen this before in HCC. We have some family friends that have a billiard room in the house similar tothe one in the pictures. At the moment it looks just like a village hall inside but I secretly covet it and have spoken to the missus that I would move there at the drop of a hat.
We were round there for drinks last Christmas and were told to go up a flight of stairs into the 'middle room' I thought that we were going into a bedroom converted to a sitting room but the potential for the room is vast and this was assessed slighty quicker than my chin hitting the deck.

Showed it my wife and she said
"they are all saddo's and none of them are married, because there's no way a wife would allow that heap of junk!"
Plus

I'd change the speakers to the TAD reference 1's, at a cool 50k per pair.
As seen in the latest Home Cinema Choice.
Beautiful looking speaker and built like a tank.
