Original Fundraising Ideas?

Hi

Going on a trip to Kenya with a group of people from college, teaching English & helping to build a new school etc etc...

Obviously this required a substantial amount of money to carry out. Can anyone suggest any interesting ways of raising the cash?

Anything a bit more interesting than a sponsored walk / run / cake sale / car boot sale?

you could do a sponsored bounce! instead of walking the ten miles you've got to bounce on one of those large purple space hoppers.... if you want extra money you could do it in bathing suits!!!

I have done a sponsored 'hoppathon' once before and vowed never ever again! We collectively space-hopped the length of the english channel, and afterwards my hands were covered in blisters and I was generally very sore and unhappy!

sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts at college, you can buy the fundrasing ones for £3.75 a dozen.

how about a sponsored 'walk a day in her shoes' day, you have to complete a day walking about in high heeled shoes.

orrr sponsored 'chew week or day' you have to chew the same 5 sticks of gum all day
