Advice re custom Christmas cards wanted

I am thinking of having a custom Christmas card printed for our village using one of my photographs. Does anyone have any experience of custom printing? I have tried a couple of online print companies but they are mega expensive. Is there a cheaper option?

what do see as 'mega expensive'? expensive to you, might be cheap to others?

Which online companies did you try?
People like Photobox?

Are you looking for someone who will print bigger bulk runs?

Re: Advice re custom Christmas cards wanted

Hi chaps, I have done the online quotes and the price per card varies from anything between £1.20 to £3.45 each depending on the quantity ordered. Bearing in mind it's for a village community, I cannot foresee people paying that much for a single Christmas card. I had in mind 50p each or so. The £1.20 price was for an order of 500 or more.

Vistaprint come out at about £0.37 per card for 500 cards.

You can put whatever picture you like on it and the quality is good in my opinion although I never got to compare them to anyone else.
