Pain in my right hand

i have had a pain now in my right hand for a week, it seems to come and go and i start to feel it more when i clench my fist or move certain fingers, its a hard pain to try and describe but ill try, it sort of tingles and at the same time it feels like its bruised but its not, hmmmm.

Any ideas what this could be or caused it?

ill book a doctors appointment tuesday morning

Re: Pain in my right hand

Any blisters?

Best wait to see your doc. Hope its nothing serious, but by the sounds of it it won't be. But that's my opinion as a medical numpty.

Just about to say the same thing!

If it is carpal tunnel syndrome, you get to have fun steriod injections straight into your fingers!

How much time do you spend using a computer per day? Both work and at home.

Re: Pain in my right hand

I have just got over almost exactly the same thing. It was from resting my arm/wrist on the desk (despite sitting properly). Two weeks of rest (no sport) although using the computer with a soft rest was fine. Needed some anti-inflammatories to sort it out. The doc just kept tapping my arm until he triggered the pain. Feel for you, as it's very uncomfortable and feels like it inside your arm/hand.

I was going to suggest Carpal Tunnel as well. My dad has it in both hands and had one operated on today. Its only a small procedure done under local anesthetic and takes about half an hour.
