Gordon Brown in Helmand

Had to smirk at the seriously 'on message' BBC reporter on the R4 news.

He said, "The troops are always delighted to have politicians visit".

I'll bet!

Re: Gordon Brown in Helmand

Is he visiting the troops ??

I thought with all the flak he was getting he was on a friend search in a part of the world where he will find like minded souls and a comparably ovberbearing unflexible organisation who also think they have the right to control what people do, say, and think while robbing them blind and removing their personal freedoms one by one.

I thought he was visiting the Taliban. He has more in common with them after all, especially as they both want to undermine the British Forces. Its only their methods that differ.

Re: Gordon Brown in Helmand

To give him his due this is the second time I've seen him. Well done for visiting at least. He did also get a few questions asked of him to which he answered.
