A dialler? What does a dialler manager do? Do you mean telephone manager?? How do you assign for your staff who will be using the telephone and when? |
In a nutshell it's a way of automating and speeding up calling.

I work in call centres too (workforce management/ Resource planning type stuff) and get involved with the diallers here, interesting stuff keeping up with the ofcom stuff & getting the bloomin things to work sometimes!! Only a small part of what we do as we are more inbound but i'm always willing to share experience if you want it fella. |
Cheers mate, I have to do a project first on some key areas and come up with ideas for improvements. Here are some I came up with...Let me know what you think if it's not too much trouble. We mainly dial outbound.
• Determine dialler effectiveness during am/ pm and evening calling. See what campaigns work best at what time
- daily requirements (how many heads we need on the dialler per campaign)
• Test, analyse, and share results of new strategies
- look into designing / implementing champion challengers to determine optimum dialler usage (what makes us work most effectively)
- This can be shown to staff during “waiting for call” or by TL.
• Determine dialler call routing (look into allocating based on skill level – dialler has this ability, could be useful for new starters – need to know what criteria the dialler uses to determine this)
• Keep the management teams across the business appraised of hourly/daily dialler statistics
- Provide detailed dialler reporting and supporting analysis (since we are managing from central location). Need to look at what reports can the dialler provide us that will breakdown all of this.
• Control & monitor agent availability addressing issues as required – notify TL
• Training of staff to ensure that cover is available when needed
• compliance with all UK regulations
Chris.
P.S. Sorry for not bullet pointing correctly - just copied and pasted!
