Tamiflu

A friend of the family is a pharmacist and she says that the reason they are using so much Tamiflu now and are eagre to hand it out all over the place is because it is all left over after being manufactured during the Bird Flu scare and is now close to expiring.

I found it pretty interesting so I thought I'd share.

Re: Tamiflu

Easy to check as they all have an expiry date on the packaging. Any offers of expiry dates?
Seems a bit naff though, surely it's better to destroy stocks that aren't needed rather than dish it out like bon-bons and increase the risk of resistance?
