Moving home soon - better to move SkyBB/Talk or to setup new account?

I've had bad experiences with ISPs and moving Broadband in the past I was wondering if anyone had recent experience moving home with Sky BB/SkyTalk?

I am considering cancelling and getting my wife to set up an account in her name.

EDIT: Forget it just checked, it's a minimum 12 month BB & Talk contract so I will have to move my account, hope they manage it better than freeserve and Virgin did!

Thanks! Really need it to be smooth as wifey works from home so Broadband is essential, I know it will be out for 1-2 weeks but can't be more than that.

Re: Moving home soon - better to move SkyBB/Talk or to setup new account?

I just moved my account about 2 weeks ago, both with Sky BB and Talk, very very simple compared to BT.

I called up asked for my services to be moved into my new adress and then 2 weeks later everything was set up.

Sky bill your talk package in arrears so they will only move it after your next bill, braodband is almost instant if you keep your same phone number, it takes 14 days if you change your phone number.

I had no issues when I moved with sky.

BT on the other hand
